Looking back

Driving home after dropping off child #1 at dance class, on my way to buy chocolate milk and bananas then pick up child #2 to go to the next dance class. Our new stomping grounds: Downtown Salt Lake. Ironically, not much faster to get through town than to take the freeway all the way to Centerville.

The only elucidation I require: how are these stomping grounds new?

Ain't that the truth? It takes me just as long to go from Guadalupe School to the upper Avenues as it takes me to drive all the way to Sandy on the freeway.

It's only new because we're driving back and forth nearly every day through the city to Ballet West instead of taking the freeway up to Centerville. Downtown is an area I have normally avoided because the traffic can be frustrating. Still driving to Centerville and to North Salt Lake a few times a week, but not every day.
