Your assignment, should you choose to accept it
Dear Friends,
If you feel like you know me well enough to do so, I would appreciate it if you could make a list for me of ten positive qualities about me. In other words, ten things about me that you think are good, positive, way-to-be, not sucky, whatever. I know ten is a lot, and I honestly couldn't come up with any when I sat down to do this little exercise about myself, so if you can come up with just a few, that's cool.
If you want to you can post them up here, or you can email them to me at ladanea at gmail dot com. I'm making a collection, you see, so when I'm having a total pity party I can read them and cry even more at how low I have sunk in relation to what all these nice people think about me. I mean, so I can make myself feel better. Yeah.

P.S. If you would like to make a similar collection of positive qualities for yourself, I would be terrified at the thought of having to come up with adequate words to describe how awesome my friends are, but I would be willing to try anyway. Just let me know.

well when I met you you were faithfully and happily helping some very stressed moms out so we could have 15 minutes alone with other adults so we didn't always want to Kill our children. It was only once a month but it was so appreciated you don't even know. Thank you for helping me survive. Mom's Club meetings saved this little mommy and so did you and your children.

I'll try to explain each one a bit as they may or may not make sense..
1. Family Loyalty - Family Honor
Look at your writings here. You care about your children and are willling to do anything to protect them and make sure they have the things they need. No one can give your kids any trouble without you coming over the horizon with sword drawn to protect them and keep them from being exposed to the evil and general crappiness of this world.
2. General Loyalty
How long have we known each other? And yet we have never met. I have told you a few things here and there that I have not told my closest RL friend. We run in some of the same circles on line. But I trust you to not turn around and make fun of me etc to any of the others we both know. You are a loyal friend.
3. Pretty
I am not a stalker and I am married. And I know you are sitting there going "really? REALLY??" but yeah. I think you are very pretty. We all have our bad days and the camera doesn't always do us justice. But I think you have a nice smile and a pleasing shape. You can disagree all you want but I am not the only one to see it. But really it should only matter to one person and unfortunately that person just doesn't see it right now.

The day you do see it and realize it I think the men of your area better watch out.
4. Intelligence
Don't think this needs explaining but hey.. whether it be grammer or just general knowledge it doesn't matter. You know your shit very well and you are quick to learn what you don't know and WILLING to learn what you don't know. That in itself is a rare trait.
5. Funny
You make me laugh. Thats hard to do. you have a very unique sense of humor that some people probably don't get but that is their loss.
6. Wisdom
Wisdom allows us to use the knowledge we have in a beneficial way. It also gives us the ability to seek out the specific knowledge we need to fulfil our existence. You are able to do both. You can relate experiences as events that give us insight into ourselves and our own existence and do it in a way that does not seem over baring like you are a know it all. Thats an important one too.
7. Great taste in friends
You know me.. need I say more? really? wow ok.. um look at the people you surround yourself with. Even the assholes like myself have a base amount of honor and respect. You seem to choose your friends so that they can provide a positive influence on your life somehow. And your frinds know that if they ever need anything you would be there helping out in any way you could.
Im not tooting my own horn in this one just making a point.
8. Witty
You are never at a loss for words. And I for one know that if I ever want an in depth conversation or some light hearted bantering back and forth that you are the one to talk to.
9. Caring
I know your emotions run deep and I also know that you care a great deal about your friends and family and thier well being. You also care about your influence upon others. You seem to always be posting about things that bother you, but you also try and post ways to resolve those things. Not just to show you did it but to help others who may have a similar situation. You care about people a lot and seem to give most people the benfit of the doubt. Like.. everyone starts out with 100 points and they have to lose your trust, not gain it if that makes sense.
Or at least thats how i view your view heh heh
10. You exist
You have had a lot of shit go on in your life. Not all of it good. And yet you exist still. you have not given in to any of it and even try to help out others who may be in the same boat. You never gave up or gave in to any of the things that happned to you. Nothing has made you fall on your sword or close the windows and pull the drapes. I for one and happy you exist in my world still. It makes the rest of it a little brighter somehow just knowing you stand to the challenge of life. That if all that stuff could happen and you can still come back with a jest.. then maybe I can too.

PS I will never be strong enough to ask something like this. It takes guts. I'd be terrified of what people would write.. or what they wouldnt write to be more specific. But please don't let anything written here (or not written here) influence you poorly. What it all boils down to is you are a good person who is loved by her family and friends and admired by more then she knows.

WOW! Wow wow wow wow! I definitely have the coolest friends ever! Thank you all so much! I am amazed that so many people even bothered to do this little exercise. Wow! Reading these just makes me cry. You guys are too nice!
Heidi, I don't know how faithful I was. I think we were late to every meeting. ;)
Anne Marie, I can't believe you put that I'm a good driver! Hahahaha! I probably nearly killed you every morning turning out of your driveway onto Foothill. But you're definitely right about being delirious. I think that's my new favorite answer for when people ask, "How are you?"

Kristi, I think our little group has had such an amazing opportunity to get to know each other - in many ways better than if we knew each other "offline".

Well then I will expect it sometime in mid 2039. That's two years per nice thing. I don't know if that's enough time or not..
Tho if you get it to me before the end of the week then I can have something to feel warm and fuzzy about for the weekend other then the fact that I was not violated by any wildlife this week..
