Midterm discovery
We got Hunter's midterm report from East High School today. He has one class there, which he is doing fine in. The school, however, receives a failing grade from me.
Apparently my son's last name is still "Algelovic", even though I called weeks ago and spoke with someone in student services who supposedly changed it in the records right then when I called. Not! Also, they have him in 10th grade, not 9th grade. Hello? I know I never listed him anywhere as being 10th grade. Did someone just randomly pick a grade for him? You can't mistype 10 instead of 9. Who does the data entry at that place? Whoever it is, they need to go to remedial classes.

Data entry failures are one of my pet peeves, especially when they screw up my name or a family member's name.
it's our country's public school system. you know how i feel about it. what did you expect? :)
